"Mom, what's that white stuff??"

T had a job interview in Marble Falls, and I had the day off from work so I tagged along. We had lunch at the Blue Bonnet Cafe (2 friends recommended it, especially the pie)...

    

I had the smoked chicken (delicious!), potato soup (yum), salad and fries (eh.) And cherry pie for dessert. T had a pot roast, green beans, cooked spinach, and fried okra. Ice cream for dessert.

After lunch we headed to Main Street to kill some time before his interview. Visited shops, hit a wine bar, had wine... and a little more... 

Fun shop, but the shop keeper rushed us out so quickly. Whatever, I got a picture of the decor.

But we had a nice time together.

 And then we went to Starbucks b/c it was really close to his interview. I struggled through some french Vogue and in the end, he was offered the job, but turned it down. It was lower paying than his previous job, and with the price of gas, it just wasn't do-able.
