I got the antique sideboard yesterday too. Wanted it as a birthday gift so that I wouldn't have to help with the loading and unloading, but at least I got it. And a neighbor of my mom's helped my brother load it into the truck (I really lucked out there) and then boyfriend helped us unload it. It is so much easier sliding it out the truck bed and moving it than lifting it up and moving it.
Sideboard with some primer, smoothing out nicks and scratches; aka, the BEFORE picture
Lost my sofa yesterday to my brother and Macy's is on my sh*tlist. When I ordered my sofa, in late June, I was told that I'd get it "late july or early august." Well, it's still early August and it is now in stock but I'm told that delivery won't happen until the week of the 19th. Uh, I'm not spending almost two weeks without a couch! My salesperson is supposed to get back to me soon about any openings this week (if I don't hear from him today I'm calling first thing Monday...)
I need my new couch.
I am not a happy Macy's customer. I hope they send me a "How was your shopping experience?" survey... I'm brutally honest with those.
