Had mom over for dinner on Friday (weird that the post below says it was from Weds- it was from Saturday!), did some shopping (Lowe's and HEB) on Saturday, relaxed at home for a bit, watched some Mythbusters on netflix, re-installed the utility room shelving, saw Watchmen at the Drafthouse (we hadn't seen a movie since Gran Torino!).
On Sunday we did yard work for the first time (I pulled weeds and edged!), put up my "fence" for the compost pile, dug my hole for the umbrella-drying rack and mixed cement (take 2), made whole-wheat pancakes for a very late breakfast, did laundry, watched more Mythbusters, did a craft project, and folded laundry.
Seems like a lot of chores, but I'm caught up on laundry, we now have a reel mower and little edger (rotary blade on a stick, seriously!), and we relaxed lots.
Turns out, we have 3 roses coming in!
