Cooking & Dancing

For dinner last night, I baked salmon, with lemon slices and dried dill, and served with whole wheat pasta and spinach pesto. Yum!

Last week I stupidly forgot to take pictures of the new things I tried. I made pea ravioli (minus the mint), which ended up like vegetarian pot stickers instead of ravioli, and was delicious! Would totally make them again. With the leftover wrappers, on Sunday, I stir fried some shrimp, ginger, garlic and green onions, pulsed them in the food processor and used that with some shredded cabbage. Fried them in some oil (too much probably) and served with steamed broccoli for dinner. Also yum. Needs a bit of tweaking, but overall, pretty good.
Need more wrappers.

I've been really good and getting up early (by 6) to exercise, 4 days a week. Do the Self Challenge twice a week, and last week I played on the wii fit the other 2 days. Today I tried Egyptian Belly Dancing, available instantly on netflix. (The quality is pretty foul, but not the worst I've seen.) It was a lot of fun! I would totally sign up for a class. The Egyptian walking (alternating hips up and down while keeping upper body still and walking around with little steps) is *very* hard- especially at full speed.
Here's the best part of From Russia with Love, with a different region's dance. Her hips are amazing!
