Lame Halloween

B.f. decided to catch a cold (one of his bosses spread his sickly germs around the office; nice guy!) so we didn't make it to a friend's halloween party (and I really want to try the brain pate!). B.f. got worse on friday and i felt bad leaving him on halloween, so we watched vampire/zombie/non-scary scary movies on the couch and ate chili.
Pretty lame, but at least we didn't have to worry about the cops.

And no trick or treaters. Another reason to get a house; they never come around to apartment complexes. Luckily I expected as much and didn't buy any candy!

Hit Target early yesterday morning to see what was on sale, 50% off, and i picked up a ceramic hand dish (candy inside was good, too), a large orange and black lantern with a skulll on it, and a leaf plate (all their fall things were on sale too!)
I finished two scarves this weekend. Felt good to finally complete them. One I'll be very sad to wrap in xmas paper, i like the end result lots. : )
