Mushroom Toast, v.2

Made another loaf of french bread (i'm totally addicted- tweaked the recipe a bit and wow...) and had more mushrooms. Here's what I did this time:

2 tablespoons of butter in med. saucepan, medium-high heat.
Into that, I mixed:
5 large mushrooms, roughly chopped
3 or 4 strips of bacon that were cooked in the oven rather than the pan, roughly chopped
A couple sprinklings of dried parsley flakes (maybe 1 tablespoon total?)
a teaspoon or so of garlic powder
a pinch of ground black pepper
and 2 swooshes of olive oil
Stirred them around for a bit, until the bread was ready

The bread was buttered on one side and both sides toasted under the broiler. Then the mush-mix was put on it, with a sprinkling of grated parm, and cooked under broiler until cheese was all melty and delicious.
